AdRide

How it works

Upload it once. It rides the whole city for a week.

No agency, no print run, no fixed route. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you send us an ad to the moment you get your numbers back.

  1. 01

    Uploaded

Send us your ad through one short online form — a still image, a short video, or just the offer you want to run.

  2. 02

    Scheduled

We schedule it onto the rider network for the week, tier and hours you have booked.

  3. 03

    Seen

It plays while riders work their normal delivery routes, right across the city.

  4. 04

    Reported

You get a report: routes covered, verified screen-on time, and scan and claim data if you used a QR offer.

In detail

The full campaign lifecycle

1. You upload your ad

One online form. Upload a still image or a short video, or tell us the offer and we will set the artwork up for you.

The screens are LED and are seen outdoors, in motion, mostly at a few metres’ distance — so big type, strong contrast and one clear message work. We will tell you honestly if what you send will not read on the street.

Ad specs: [NEEDS FIGURE: screen resolution and dimensions], [NEEDS FIGURE: maximum video length per tier].

2. We schedule it onto the network

Your ad goes into the rotation across every active rider screen, for the days and hours your tier covers. On Starter and Growth you share the rotation with other advertisers; on Dominant you get priority at lunch and evening ordering peaks; on Exclusive rider hire you have a rider’s screen entirely to yourself.

Scheduling is a network operation, not a route plan. We do not tell riders where to go — they work as they normally would, and your ad goes wherever the day takes them.

Lead time from upload to live: [NEEDS FIGURE: standard lead time].

3. It plays while riders ride

The screen sits on the rider’s delivery bag and runs while they are out working. Riders do nothing during their shift — no app to open, no route to follow, nothing to switch on.

That means your ad is on the street during the hours people are actually thinking about food: the lunch rush, the school run, the Friday evening peak, the Sunday night orders.

4. You get the report

After the campaign we send a report built from what the units actually recorded — GPS route coverage as a heatmap, verified screen-on time, a timestamped play log, and a time-of-day breakdown.

If you used the QR add-on, the report also shows scans, claims and in-store redemptions, so you can put a number on what the campaign brought through the door.

Optional add-on

The QR offer loop

One available feature of an AdRide campaign — not the only way it works.

01

Scan

Your ad carries a QR code. Someone on the street scans it off a passing rider’s screen.

02

Claim

They land on a claim page and take the offer on their phone. You see the claim.

03

Redeem

They use it in your shop. The redemption is logged, so you can see what the campaign brought in.

Scan-to-claim is a proven mechanic and we have built it in from day one. But it is opt-in per campaign: if you are building brand visibility rather than pushing a discount, run without it. Expected scan rates will be published once we have real ones — [NEEDS FIGURE: scan rate once pilot campaigns have run].

Questions

Common questions from advertisers

What do I actually need to give you?

An image or short video, or the wording of an offer. If you have brand artwork already, send that. If you do not, tell us the offer and we will lay it out for the screen.

Can I change my ad mid-campaign?

Yes. Screens sync overnight, so a new ad goes live the following day rather than instantly. [NEEDS FIGURE: number of free creative swaps per campaign].

Can I choose which parts of the city my ad appears in?

Partly. Riders work the areas they normally work, so we can weight a campaign towards riders who typically cover an area — but we will not promise a postcode-exact route, because that is not how delivery work behaves. [NEEDS FIGURE: area targeting availability at launch].

Do I have to use a QR offer?

No. The QR offer is an add-on. Plenty of campaigns are pure visibility — being seen, repeatedly, by people out in the city. The QR is there if you want a measurable claim-and-redeem loop as well.

What happens if a rider stops riding mid-campaign?

Your plays are guaranteed minimums across the network, not tied to one person. If a rider drops out, their share of your plays is covered by the rest of the network. On Exclusive rider hire we will either substitute a comparable rider or credit the unused time — your choice.

How long does a campaign have to run?

Campaigns are booked by the week. [NEEDS FIGURE: minimum campaign length].

See it on a real screen before you book.

Book a demo and we will walk you through the units, the rotation, and the report you would get back.
